Want to Play Baseball at University of Oregon?

The AIM Summer Baseball Team is scheduled to appear in the Grant Smith Wood Bat Tournament in Eugene, Oregon on 6/16 - 6/19. While down in Eugene, the AIM baseball guys will visit their first 4-year university at the University of Oregon.

The visit will include a 1 hour campus tour, an admissions session and a tour of the UofO Athletic Department.

We encourage all the guys to get a head start and check out the UofO website for school details and admission requirements.

Additionally, here is some information we've found regarding their Baseball Program:

Coach: George Horton
Phone: (541) 346-4481

The Oregon Baseball staff asks that prospective student-athletes complete a Questionnaire and also send video footage using youtube.com. The Duck Baseball youtube page and instructions can be reached at youtube.com/DuckBaseball.

Remember, when you contact a coach, ALWAYS be sure to include your name, sport, age, and grade in school. It is also helpful to include a copy of your school transcript, and a resume of your athletic and academic accomplishments.

IF YOU ARE A COLLEGE TRANSFER:

Based on current NCAA rules, the University of Oregon CANNOT respond via e-mail or phone to any four-year college transfer student without the student-athlete obtaining a release from the first college and faxing that release to the University of Oregon Athletic Department at (541) 346-7227. Once the release is obtained from the first college, then the University of Oregon coach will be able to contact you. In sports other than football, baseball and basketball, four-year college transfer students should make sure their current college will release them to be immediately eligible to compete before considering the University of Oregon.
